Leopard up close

Pula showing us all how it done and taking after her mother in some true style for the camera.

New faces in the area.

While on drive not far from camp we were lucky enough to come across twelve wild dogs in an open flood plain. The area has one resident dog that moves in the area so lets hope they meet up and stick around.

Lion Yawn

Just loved the way the yawn turned out on this one.

Western Boy

One of two dominant males in the area to the south of camp. The Western boys are the fathers of eight cubs belonging to the Mathata pride and have no problem making sure that every one knows it.

Pula

One of Legadima's two cubs Pula at about twenty months old.

Giant eagle owl

The Giant Eagle Owl is the most rapacious of all African owls, killing prey as large as vervet monkeys, warthog piglets to rodents and game birds that form the bulk of its diet.

Lion cubs need we say more?

Always a lot of fun to sit with in the early mornings and late afternoon.
